Teaching Activities

The members of the CBG laboratory are involved in teaching and training missions in various national and international programs. Locally, its members teach at the UFR Santé and the UFR Sciences et Techniques of the University of Rouen Normandie, as well as at the University Caen Normandie, holding educational responsibilities for programs and teaching units (UE) at the Bachelor’s (Licence), Master’s, Doctoral, and other university levels

Bachelor’s (Licence) Programs

Life Sciences

A solid foundational education in life sciences, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, and physiology. Provides access to Master’s programs in the Normandy region.

Life and Earth Sciences

Ecology and Organism Biology: Multidisciplinary training in organism biology (animal and plant), ecology, data analysis, geosciences, genetics, and cell biology.

General Biology and Earth Sciences: Synthetic view of life phenomena, from molecular to biocenotic levels, within the general context of the Earth system.

Health Sciences

Classic: Biology Health
Biology Health, Health Access : Allows students to follow Health UE and apply to MMOP programs (Medicine, Midwifery, Odontology, Pharmacy).
Ergotherapy / Physiotherapy: Reserved for students in specific training institutes who wish to pursue research Masters.

Earth and Environment Sciences

Multidisciplinary training in environmental sciences: functioning of natural environments (hydrosystems, geosystems, ecosystems), environmental data study and analysis techniques (GIS, statistics, etc.), and environmental management (law, administrations, standards).

Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics Modeling and Statistics

“Cellular Imaging” Two-year training with a scientific and technical background, practical experience (8 months minimum internship + intensive lab work), and in-depth academic knowledge.

Health Master – Research Initiation and Research Training

Allows students in medical, pharmaceutical, odontological, midwifery, or physiotherapy studies to validate Research Initiation and Training UEs for future M2 Research or Professional Master 2 studies. Runs parallel to main studies

Engineering School

Health Engineering – IMAC Pathway (ESITech)

The ESITech graduate engineer in Living Technologies is a professional capable of managing all processes related to the production of active ingredients (biopharmaceuticals in particular) by living organisms.

Inter-University Diploma (DIU)

Cancer and Cognition

Unique training in France on cognitive disorders in cancer patients and their management. Based on the “Cancer and Cognition” platform (Rouen-Caen consortium), spanning pre-clinical research to post-cancer patient care.

Doctoral School

Normandy Doctoral School of Integrative Biology, Health and Environment (EdNBISE)

EdNBISE reunites all PhD students in Biology, Microbiology, Ecology, Geology, and Health from the three Normandy Universities (Caen, Le Havre, Rouen) and brings together more than 35 laboratories affiliated under the CNRS, INSERM, INRA, CEA, or IFREMER. EdNBISE trains doctoral students for the researcher profession.
